The Moral Versus The Competent? In this well written but intellectually confused article on white moralism at the Occidental Observer, we are presented with the false dilemma of morally tarnished but effective public servants OR the incorruptible tyrant or buffoon. The correct answer is that we have a right to expect both morally upright AND capable, competent leaders. True leaders possess both qualities, not the reductionist menu of the raffish Henry of Navarre versus the model of probity Robespierre; and true leadership is possible, even today. While we want our plumbers to be expert, it is also desirable that they not be thieves. And for public figures, we should smart from shame if we expect no more than we expect of a plumber, and we certainly do expect better from the Occidental Observer. There are genuine issues with moralism that whites should look to. Moralism is the effort of secular society to bring salvation to man through the law of men, and as such, it is a false salvation. The war on “racism” is a particularly striking example of moralism. But this silly sort of modern pillory is not to be confused with the all too warranted opprobrium in which we should hold rogues who carouse on the public dime and feast rapaciously on the meat of defenseless citizens. We have a right, as a Christian nation to expect Christian behavior from our white leaders, even if they act disingenuously, or would the esteemed writer at the Occidental Observer have us abandon all standards of public conduct in a futile search for what is falsely exclusionary?
