Unity and Human Types

I would like post a few words today about the notion of the undifferentiated unity of man and the absence of human “types” in the creational order (that is, the sinless state) -a notion which the relevant texts, I feel, do not support. We know that there are orders and hierarchies in heaven (or at least differentiation of function in the Lords “court"). But heaven is not our final destination (are we agreed?), but rather the “regeneration”. A Brief Etymology of Tolerance

Isn’t it interesting how the definition of “tolerance” has been transformed from one with an external, demonstrable proof to an internal subjective process of divination as to the presence of that ethereal substance known as “hate”? Tolerance is no longer thus: “You have not imprisoned, deported, or executed me therefore you have been tolerant.” The contemporary (and hopefully temporary) definition is this: “I sense you are not fully on board with our diversity program.” A “scientist” drawing on generous grants from The Bureau, has even devised an analytical process which uses NMRI scans to reveal changes in the brain… [Read More] |

The inner logic and will of ideological states (some have called them “proposition nations” -a ludicrous oxymoron) must inexorably move toward the marginalization and final eradication of subversive ideologies, dissident voices. In the regeneration to come, men are to be as angels -indeed even sitting in judgment of them. But what if our dread, our stern angels in the conflict above (snatched from a teeming panel of Bruegel’s) were to throw down their swords of division?
